Flotilla 11

Sea Ark at Fairhaven

Flotilla 11 (Bellingham, WA) is part of District 13, Division 1, of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. On the ark

At nearly one hundred members, we are a diverse group coming from all backgrounds and experience levels. Whether you're seventeen, long ago retired, or somewhere in-between, you'll find someone to connect with at Flotilla 11.

As a flotilla, we work actively with the public, promoting boating safety through classes, events, and free vessel safety checks.
Flare practice

We patrol the waters along the coast and the San Juans both by air and by sea, keeping a watch and offering assistance to those in need.

Members polish their skills and gain new ones through classes and on the water training. We work closely with Coast Guard Station Bellingham in both training and volunteer assistance.

We, as a flotilla, are also big on "fellowship", the fourth cornerstone of the Auxiliary. A few times a year, we get together on a more social level. We usually include boating-related activities, but the emphasis is on fun and getting to know our fellow members. Flotilla social event

We meet the third Thursday of the month at 1900 hours (7:00 pm), usually at the Bellingham Yacht Club in Squalicum Harbor.

Also, be sure to check out our Friday Harbor Detachment. It meets the fourth Monday of the month, 1300 hours (1:00 pm) at the San Juan Library.

Come join us and see what we're all about!
